ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE HAWAII OPHTHALMOLOGICAL SOCIETY

 

 

Announcement April 2004

Dear HOS Member:

Please note that the Minutes and Announcements are now available on our HOS website www.HawaiiEyeMds.org.

Please be advised that the next meeting of the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society will occur Thursday April 15, 2004 at 3660 On The Rise. The speaker will be Dr. M. Pierre Pang.  His lecture is entitled “A modified technique for management of completely dislocated PCIOL's in the absence of capsular support”.

Objectives:

     1.     To learn different techniques in management of dislocated IOL’s.

     2.     To discuss risks, benefits and complications of alternative therapy.

     3.     To discuss a novel simplified technique for managing completely dislocated IOL’s

 

 

Parking under the building will be validated and cocktails will begin at 6:30. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM concurrent with the business meeting, followed by the speaker. 

The Hawaii Ophthalmological Society is accredited by the Hawaii Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The Hawaii Ophthalmological Society designates each of these educational activities for a maximum of 1 hour in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent in the educational activity.
